Our designs incorporate thoughtful features like convertibility, eco-friendly wrinkle- and stain-resistant fabrics, pockets, built-in shorts, and bras to support modern women on the go without compromising beauty or sophistication.
Meet the Founder
I started OJALÁ because ever since falling in love with exploring the world, I’ve struggled to find stylish, yet practical clothes for traveling. For years, I put up with wrinkles and lack of pockets and wore shorts under skirts to avoid compromising my style, but it was not ideal. I knew there had to be a better way but couldn’t find a perfect solution, so I set out to create what I and many other chic female travelers who hate compromising had been missing.
Meaning “hopefully” or “if only” in Spanish, OJALÁ was born from a passion for empowering women and a belief in the power of travel to change lives.
Fusing romantic & vintage elements inspired by my travels with modern functional design, we aim to make you feel beautiful and comfortably confident while exploring the world. Because you deserve to have it all.

Our mission is to empower women to seek a bold life without compromise by designing effortlessly chic clothing that sets us free. As believers in traveling to expand perspective, we aim to encourage conscious international travel, cultural exchange, and global citizenship.
Our Roots & Craftsmanship
We’re proud to be a Latina-owned and operated brand. Every OJALÁ piece is designed in-house and brought to life by talented artisans we collaborate with directly, ensuring ethical practices and honoring true craftsmanship.
Rooted in our founder’s Colombian heritage, we proudly support the local economy by producing in Colombia, where she now lives to work side-by-side with the team sewing OJALÁ designs. Many of these artisans are highly skilled in traditional sewing, hand-finishing, and small-batch production techniques, allowing us to create pieces that balance heritage with modern design. As a U.S.-based brand, we bridge cultures while staying true to community and tradition.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
As globe-trotters, we care deeply about the planet and strive for sustainability at every stage of our business. From the fabrics we source, to the way we manufacture, to the packaging and finishing touches, we keep sustainability at the forefront.
We seek out the most innovative, eco-friendly textiles, prioritizing certifications like OEKO-TEX Standard 100 to ensure our fabrics are free from PFAS and other harmful chemicals. Our collections incorporate organic textiles, recycled and biodegradable synthetics, and plant-based, durable water-resistant finishes that make fabrics stain- and wrinkle-resistant without compromising the planet.
We design only versatile, timeless pieces meant to be treasured and passed down for generations. To minimize waste, we produce exclusively in small batches and ship using recycled, FSC-certified packaging materials, biodegradable poly bags made out of corn, and seed-based compostable hang tags that can be planted and grown into a house plant.
